Hi, I'm Peter Salvatore Battaglia, a Freshman student at Binghamton University in New York State. My current Major is Computer Science and I plan to dual major for Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) as well. When I graduate, I plan on working in the field of IT consulting and Business Solutions, and hope to own my own company in the field.

I have always been interested in technology, but I first became interested in web design and development when I created my first web site (which was about my favorite television show at the time, Family Guy) in seventh grade. I continued to play around with my web design skills, learning HTML, CSS and Photoshop, until I truly wanted to become serious with my skills. It was at this time that I taught myself Javascript, then moved into PHP and MySQL to create dynamic and database driven pages. After about one and a half years of learning and practicing these skills, I created my own web development company during the summer of 2007. From that point on, I have created or redesigned over a dozen websites for clients, some of which can be found in my online portfolio. During college, I continue to maintain and host websites, but do not create sites until breaks in the school year, so that I may focus on my grades.

This site is to serve as a representation for myself as a Web Developer, Student, and Tech Enthusiast. I am currently seeking web development jobs for winter and summer, and I am also seeking internship oppritunities from companies in Broome or Erie County.
